Alejandra Quintero
Board Member

Alejandra Quintero was born in Medellín, Colombia In 2000, she emigrated to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where she studied Accounting at Sagrado Corazón University. Today, Alejandra is the CEO of Second Chance Credit and D’ Latinos Finanzas, innovative companies focused on educating the community and equipping individuals with tools to adapt to the U.S. economic system.

Specializing in credit and finance, Alejandra recognized a recurring issue: many in the Latino community struggle financially due to a lack of knowledge about the U.S. credit market. Unlike in many Latin American countries—where credit systems lack structure—credit in the U.S. can be a powerful tool when used wisely. Alejandra’s mission is to bridge this gap, empowering people through financial education and personalized support to build strong credit and achieve financial stability.

In addition to her professional work, Alejandra is the co-founder of Fundación Proyecto Vida, a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening single-parent families in Medellín and Orlando. The foundation provides vital resources and support systems to help these families thrive, contributing to long-term stability and community growth. With a passion for service and deep understanding of the challenges faced by immigrants and underserved populations, Alejandra continues to be a transformative force. Her work blends business acumen with social impact, helping individuals not just survive—but succeed—in a complex financial landscape.
