Being a voice for our members, business Partners and our community

Advocacy

As the Hispanic Chamber of Central Florida celebrates its fifteenth year, we proudly step into a renewed role in advocacy—not as newcomers, but as steadfast champions of the causes that shape and empower our business community. For years, we have stood beside efforts that bear real fruit for our entrepreneurs, professionals, and the families they support. Today, our advocacy is grounded in meaningful workforce legislation—initiatives that begin at the federal level but ripple outward to uplift local businesses and the people who drive them. We are not merely observers in these spaces; we are present, we are vocal, and we ensure our community is heard.
Every seat we take at the table is an opportunity—to listen, to represent, and to return with knowledge that strengthens. We bring back more than just information—we bring back hope, strategy, and a renewed sense of purpose. Together, we are not just building better businesses—we are nurturing compassionate, forward-thinking leaders who shape our world with heart and vision.
The road ahead is bright, and our commitment is stronger than ever. This is our time—to rise, to advocate, and to lead with unity and purpose.

2026 Governance & Advocacy Priorities

Governance -The HCCCF is dedicated to constructive, non-partisan engagement, collaborating with elected and appointed officials of integrity to advance pragmatic solutions that strengthen our region. While the Chamber does not endorse individual candidates, we remain steadfast in advocating for policies that empower businesses, stimulate economic vitality, and enhance the quality of life across Central Florida. Through respectful dialogue and strategic partnerships, HCCCF works to ensure that the voice of the business community is represented in decisions that shape sustainable growth, workforce development, and long-term community prosperity.
Workforce Summit Training and Advocacy – The HCCCF is committed to maintaining a skilled and competitive workforce in our community. We actively engage in local and federal legislation that impacts workforce development, and we work collaboratively with partners to support positive solutions. Through our business  partnerships we engage in non-partisan discussions to highlight the contributions of the Hispanic workforce and to advocate for expanded legal workforce pathways in the United States.
Tourism Development Tax (TDT) Investment – The Chamber advocates for a responsible and strategic use of Tourism Development Tax revenues to elevate and promote tourism in our region. Tourism growth expands economic activity, strengthens our tax base, and helps reduce the burden on local property taxpayers while supporting key community priorities. Partnership with local Tourism Advertising Athouritys s to help promote and bring consumers to our region.
Healthcare Access and Partnerships – Access to dependable, high-quality healthcare is essential to the well-being of our students, workforce, and community. It is also a major factor for families and employers choosing to relocate to our region. The HCCCF supports initiatives that expand healthcare services, build strategic partnerships, and create career pathways in the medical field to improve community health and drive economic growth.
Education Funding – The HCCCF is committed to promoting the continued educational development of our Chamber members. Through grants, we provide scholarships throughout the year to support small business owners and entrepreneurial learning. Additionally, the Chamber advocates for our local school districts to have reliable and sufficient funding to meet the needs of both students and teachers, while maintaining a responsible reserve balance of at least 5% to ensure long-term financial stability. We actively engage with administrators, teachers, and students to strengthen educational outcomes across our community.
